Job Description

As a Product Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and customer needs. You will be responsible for design-in collaterals and for providing technical customer support for Infineon's Motor Control Solution ICs -MOTIXTM.

In your new role you will:

• Act as the technical interface for customers worldwide, supporting design-in activities including schematic and layout reviews, board bring-up, and debug of technical problems
• Solve customer challenges and provide application-specific solutions for Infineon products
• Collect and structure customer feedback to drive product improvements and market opportunities
• Develop and maintain technical documents such as datasheets, application notes, and articles to aid customer understanding and product usage
• Create and refine technical materials for Go-to-Market activities, including evaluation boards, reference designs, and design-in support tools
• Provide technical product trainings to internal and external partners
  
  

Your Profile

You are a motivated engineer with solid expertise in automotive electronics and motor control. You approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively. Your attention to detail and eagerness to learn drive your success in cross-functional teams.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical role as a circuit design, validation or application engineer
• Knowledge of standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)
• Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, Simulink, etc.)
• Expertise in electronic board design (Schematic, Layout, EMC, PCB Manufacturing process)
• Basic overall programming skills (C/C++, MATLAB, Visual Basic, Python)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical information to customers and Infineon technical peers
• Fluency in English
