Role Overview
Offered position is for central system engineer.
Candidate will be working primarily on lottery on-line transaction processing system based on Linux/Unix system and written in C.
Main Activities
- Maintenance of existing installations of systems for our customers
- Development of changes/new functionality for existing systems on customer request, full range of tasks from requirements specification to QA tests support
- Development of new system deployments - adapting baseline system based on customer requirements
- Development & maintenance of automatic test system written in Python
- Development and maintenance of a lottery on-line transaction processing system
- Participation in future system deployments for world-wide customers
- University or Technical College graduate preferable followed by at least 3 years of programming experience
- Very good knowledge of/working experience with C/C++, Unix/Linux and software development
- Very good command of English is essential
- Communication skills
- Flexibility, motivation, initiative
- Ability to learn fast and transfer knowledge
- Open to traveling
- Knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies, Unix shell scripting, AIX, OpenVMS, relational databases and client-server programming, designing and programming large scale, distributed systems
- Python
- Relational Database skills in most common RDBMS[es]
