About The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join McDonald's Global Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative software solutions that support the company's strategic initiatives. You will be involved in all stages of the agile development lifecycle, from designing and coding to testing and deployment. Your work will directly influence the enhancement of service performance, security, and cost-efficiency across our digital platforms. Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships)
• Extensive programming experience with Swift, Objective-C, and iOS platform technologies and APIs
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to solve complex problems collaboratively
• Proven leadership abilities in engineering environments, driving operational excellence and best practices
• Highly detail-oriented with a passion for continuously improving products and user experience
• Ability to manage projects from requirements gathering through to launch and delivery

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment
• Design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions to enhance service performance, durability, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement best practices in software engineering to ensure high-quality deliverables
