Role Definition
- Junior PHP Developer is responsible for assisting in website development using PHP as per project requirements. This role focuses on supporting the team, learning web development frameworks, and gradually contributing to coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
- PHP coding using Core PHP or basic Frameworks under guidance
- Understand and assist in meeting client requirements defined in the scope
- Test and debug simple issues in collaboration with senior developers
- Be open and proactive toward learning new frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to understand basic technical tasks
- Write and maintain simple, clean PHP code with supervision
- Perform basic integration of front-end and back-end logic
- Learn how to interact with APIs and MySQL databases
- Participate in the development lifecycle from training to deployment support
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with support
- Take part in internal training sessions and code reviews
- Stay updated on new technologies and best practices
- BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / BCA / MSc (IT/CS)
- Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with any PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter) is a bonus
- Internship or final-year project in PHP is preferred
- Logical thinking and a strong desire to learn and grow
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
