What is Hei Dingo?
Hei Dingo is a career intelligence startup building competitive intelligence tools for recruiters. We help talent acquisition teams map and source talent from their competition - think of it as turning market insights into recruitment superpowers.
We have 5 pilot clients onboard, and now our next step is bringing the MVP to life.
What will you do?
You'll own the technical side of Hei Dingo - from turning our demo MVP into a functional proof of concept, to validating it with real clients, to building the foundation for what comes next. You'll work directly with clients alongside Dafne Meneses Founder CEO and Mara Bande CMO to build, test, and iterate fast. Hypothesis to prototype energy.
Once we validate the paid MVP with our first clients, together we’ll start building the team that scales it. But first, hands-on making the concept real.
This is a founding role. You report to the founder on business level decisions (pricing, branding, strategy, etc), but the tech stack, approach, and execution is yours.
Build & Ship
- Turn our current demo MVP into a functional product our pilot clients can use
- Work directly with Mara Bande CMO to gather feedback and iterate quickly
- Own technical decisions - stack, architecture, tools, approach
- Meet deadlines and move fast
Product & Strategy
- Collaborate with team to validate the proof of concept and product-market fit
- Think like a founder - understand the business, not just the tech
- Help shape product decisions based on what's technically feasible and strategic
- Work with our advisor board when needed to align on milestones and growth
Scale & Lead
- Once MVP is validated, hire and build the engineering team
- Set technical standards and processes
- Maintain security and reliability as we expand to new clients
- Own the platform evolution from prototype to production-ready product
Who are we looking for?
- Can build and think outside the box, you ask for help when you need it and communicate updates frequently
- Is mid-level hungry for power and opportunity - you want to own something real, not just execute tickets
- Is a generalist who can handle frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Gets or wants to feel the startup life - deadlines matter more than hours worked; results matter more than process
- Can talk to the team and clients - you don't need to be a salesperson, but you can't hide behind code either
- Thinks like a owner- business-driven, pragmatic, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile to make your equity worth more and more
Must-haves:
- Proactive communication
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Ability to meet hard deadlines
Nice-to-haves:
- Startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience talking to clients and gathering technical requirements
- Familiarity with Supabase, Vercel, or similar
What you get
Equity + Salary (post-funding)
Salary kicks in once we close our funding round (target: before December). Standard vesting: 4-year plan with 1-year cliff and milestone agreements.
