Position: Head of Product
Reporting to: CEO and CTO
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates / Baltics / Cyprus / Remote
Role Requirements and expectations from Head of Product
Industry & Domain Experience
● Extensive experience in retail banking product leadership, including strategic planning, product development, and market positioning for both consumer and business banking channels.
● Significant track record in crypto neo banking, building products that bridge traditional finance and digital asset ecosystems (e.g., crypto-backed cards, fiat ramps, lending, B2B/B2C platforms, OTC trading).
● Proven ability in B2B crypto solutions, delivering value to institutional and business end clients via innovative digital banking products and services.
Business and Strategic Expertise
● Demonstrated skill in developing a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the bank's vision and delivers measurable business value, revenue growth, product-market fit, and competitive traction in both crypto and retail segments.
● Ability to build and manage cross-functional teams, drive product roadmaps, define feature priorities, and execute rapid go-to-market cycles based on client/user feedback and business goals.
● Expertise in market, competitor, and regulation analysis and the ability to iterate products for evolving compliance and business needs.
● Track record partnering directly with C-level stakeholders (CEO, CTO, COO, CCO, Finance, Sales) to drive strategic outcomes and profitability.
● Comprehensive market and audience analysis, including psychological characteristics, personal preferences, and user expectations to inform product decisions.
● Collection and processing of feedback from end users and stakeholders (project shareholders) to continuously improve product offerings.
● Development and articulation of clear product goals, making them explicit and measurable across the organization.
● Product strategy development in collaboration with C-levels and stakeholders, adapting scope based on evolving stakeholder needs.
Technical Proficiency & Collaboration
● Clear understanding of Web2/Web3 applications architecture and industry standards (e.g. Java-based backends, React frontends, Kafka messaging, PostgreSQL databases); ability to translate client requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with engineering for agile delivery of banking/crypto products.
● Comfortable working with technical leadership (CTO, engineering teams), translating strategic business requirements into detailed product roadmaps and features.
● Familiarity with blockchain protocols, web3 infrastructure, smart contracts (not mandatory to code), and crypto industry security and scalability best practices.
● Integration of cross-functional teams including designers, developers, analysts, maintaining close and effective interaction between all team members.
● Formation and management of product backlog with clear task distribution for development team members.
● Clear explanation and transparency of product backlog to ensure alignment across teams.
● Prioritization of user stories, defects, and technical debt based on business value and strategic importance.
● Task assignment and version release control, ensuring timely delivery of product features.
● Participation in product demonstrations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Regulatory & Compliance Alignment
● Advanced awareness of cryptocurrency and digital banking regulation, risk, and compliance, especially across cross-border payments, AML, onboarding, and data protection, partnering closely with CCO.
● Ability to integrate regulatory requirements into product design and user journey, ensuring a secure and legally compliant banking platform.
Documentation & Communication
● Development of technical documentation including user stories, user guides, product vision documents, and specifications to support product development teams. This includes responsibility for delegation to Business Analysts when available.
● Creation of roadmaps for the marketing department to attract, retain, and re-engage product users.
Product Lifecycle Management
● Complete and continuous control of product development from ideation through presentation to stakeholders/C-levels.
● Team motivation (both material and non-material) to maintain high performance and engagement.

● Build and execute a successful business strategy for the KEA product line, targeting rapid user growth, institutional partnerships, and profitability in both retail and B2B crypto verticals.
