Role: Functional and Technical Architect

About the Role:

Our client in the financial sector is seeking a Functional and Technical Architect to support their digital transformation. The role involves designing and maintaining the company’s Information System (IS) architecture, ensuring it aligns with overall business strategy and IT standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse business needs and define functional & technical solutions.
• Design and document application and functional architectures.
• Ensure IS coherence and compliance with company and group standards.
• Participate in IT validation committees and present architecture proposals.
• Maintain IS mapping (functional, application, and technical).
• Support projects throughout their full lifecycle (design → production).
• Contribute to technology watch and define architecture principles.

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Stack: Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory
• Cloud & Virtualization: Cloud migration, VMware, DevSecOps
• Network & Security: DMZ, WAF, Reverse Proxy, Firewall, Sandbox
• Tools: Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Architecture Mapping Tools

Methodologies / Frameworks:

• TOGAF, Archimate

Profile & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or related field.
• Experience as a Functional/Technical Architect in banking or insurance sectors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a strategic mindset.

• French: Fluent (required)
