Role: Unity Technical Designer (Audio & Gameplay)

Location: Dubai, UAE (Full-time, Onsite/Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Unity Technical Designer (Audio & Gameplay) — a hybrid creator who bridges sound, systems, and player experience.

You’ll turn design ideas into playable, audible, and emotionally engaging in-game moments.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement all audio assets (SFX, music, voiceovers, UI) in Unity using native tools or FMOD/Wwise.
  • Set up gameplay triggers, events, and states that drive sound, effects, and player feedback.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate feature briefs into in-engine experiences.
  • Build adaptive sound systems that respond dynamically to gameplay.
  • Work with engineering on C# logic for sound triggers, mixers, and event communication.
  • Optimize performance and memory for smooth delivery across platforms.
  • Support LiveOps features (quests, streaks, rewards) with immersive feedback loops.
  • Maintain a scalable Unity sound and gameplay pipeline.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of Unity experience (with shipped or prototype titles).
  • Experience with FMOD, Wwise, or Unity’s built-in audio tools.
  • Solid C# scripting skills and understanding of event-driven systems.
  • Strong grasp of how sound and gameplay interact to shape player emotion.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication in small, agile teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Mobile or live service game experience.
  • Understanding of engagement systems (quests, rewards, streaks).
  • Background in sound design or adaptive audio.
  • Familiarity with Git/Plastic SCM.

Why Join

  • Work on live, player-first games that push creative boundaries.
  • Collaborate directly with creative leadership.
  • Have full ownership of your technical and design implementation.
  • Be part of a small, ambitious team shaping the next era of interactive mobile experiences.
