【A Day in the Life】

As the founding Designer for this venture, you'll be the chief architect of our product's visual and interactive DNA. You'll translate the ambitious vision of a next-generation social platform into an intuitive, immersive, and visually stunning reality. Your scope spans the entire user experience—from crafting the seamless flow of content discovery to designing innovative tools that empower authentic self-expression. You'll own the end-to-end design process: conducting exploratory user research, defining information architecture, creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and establishing a cohesive design system from first principles. Working in a small, agile team with product and engineering leads, your designs will directly shape a product that millions of users may one day call their digital home.

【The Impact You'll Make】

• Define the Visual Language: Establish and evolve the product's visual identity, design system, and interaction patterns from the ground up, ensuring consistency and excellence across the entire user journey
• Design Core Experiences: Lead UX design for our most critical features—including content consumption flows, creation tools, social interactions, and community spaces
• Prototype and Iterate: Create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to communicate complex interactions, validate design concepts with users, and iterate rapidly based on feedback and data
• Champion the User: Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the product development process, conducting competitive analysis and user research to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate for Impact: Partner with Product Managers to define problems and opportunities, and work closely with Engineers to ensure impeccable implementation while pushing the boundaries of design-friendly tooling

【Who You Are】

• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/UX design craft, particularly in consumer-facing mobile products that balance beauty with usability
• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality mobile applications. Experience in social, content, or community-driven products is highly valued
• Mastery of modern design tools (especially Figma) and deep understanding of platform-specific design patterns for iOS and Android
• Exceptional visual sensibility—with an eye for typography, motion, and pixel-perfect interfaces that feel alive
• Deeply empathetic and user-focused, comfortable with various research methodologies and committed to data-informed iteration
• A self-directed creator who thrives in ambiguity—able to manage multiple projects while building something meaningful from scratch
• An articulate communicator and collaborative partner who can clearly express design rationale to cross-functional teammates
