This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of large-scale, user-facing applications in a highly collaborative and innovative environment. You will focus on designing and implementing front-end solutions that are maintainable, scalable, and secure, working with modern technologies such as React, Node.js, and CSS frameworks. The position requires hands-on development, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will influence architecture and design decisions, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior engineers. Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and best coding standards are integral to the role. Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end web applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and CSS
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams to implement scalable and performant solutions
  • Participate in architecture and design decisions to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, optimizing performance and usability
  • Lead and mentor a small team of UI or full-stack engineers, providing guidance and feedback
  • Ensure code quality through test-driven development, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices
  • Work with enterprise integration services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for front-end systems, processes, and best practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of software application development experience, or equivalent experience (High School Diploma/GED and 14+ years acceptable)
  • Hands-on experience with React (16+), Redux or Mobx store management, Node.js, TypeScript, ES6, CSS3, CSS preprocessors, and grid layouts
  • Technical lead experience for medium to large projects
  • Strong understanding of Agile/iterative delivery methodologies
  • Experience with TDD, CICD, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
  • Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting production issues
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services, transactional and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Docker, and Jenkins
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Bonus: experience in regulated financial organizations
