About Autonomize AI

Autonomize AI is revolutionizing healthcare by streamlining knowledge workflows with AI. We reduce administrative burdens and elevate outcomes, empowering professionals to focus on what truly matters — improving lives. We're growing fast and looking for bold, driven teammates to join us.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on UX Designer who’s obsessed with creating intuitive, AI-powered user experiences in healthcare. You’ll help define and design the future of our product — shaping how clinicians, payers, and operators engage with high-stakes, high-volume information. If you have experience building AI-first interfaces, designing workflow tools in clinical or payer settings, and translating user insight into elegant solutions that drive clarity and trust — this is your moment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own UX end-to-end across high-impact product areas ranging from wireframes to validated prototypes.
  • Design AI-first workflows that augment human decision-making in complex clinical and operational healthcare use cases.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate ambiguity into clarity.
  • Craft elegant, usable, and scalable design systems — especially for information-dense interfaces.
  • Engage with business users (clinicians, reviewers, operators) to gather insights and iterate fast.
  • Build interaction patterns that make AI outputs feel actionable, trustworthy, and intuitive.
  • Work with delivery teams to help create world-class UX for AI Workflows
  • Create reusable component libraries and templates for various user interaction patterns
  • Collaborate with engineers and product owners to help translate UX into awesome UI applications.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams from ideation to creating design mockups

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product design experience — at least 1-2 years in healthcare or healthtech verticals.
  • Strong portfolio of ML or AI based workflow tools, platform or vertical solutions
  • Comfortable owning user journeys from discovery to deployment, not just UI design.
  • Adept with Figma, prototyping tools, and user feedback loops.
  • Adept with modern vibe coding tools like Replit, Lovable.
  • Action Oriented — you don’t wait for perfect inputs; you build to learn.
  • Culture fit: Full stack ownership, clarity in chaos, and commitment to velocity.

Bonus

  • Experience in payer workflows, care management, or utilization review tooling.
  • Background in user research or service design.
  • Familiarity with HCIT compliance, FHIR, or clinical decision support tools.
  • Familiarity with ADA compliance

What We Offer

  • A chance to make a real impact in the future of healthcare
  • Autonomy, ownership, and the ability to chart your own growth path
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • 100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Retirement plans (401k), disability insurance, employee assistance programs

How To Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to [email protected] explaining why you are the ideal candidate for this role. We are excited to meet someone who is eager to bring their skills, enthusiasm, and creativity to our team!
