What you will work on …

The Technical Expert will reinforce one of Itineris' R&D teams, in which he/she will be responsible for building highly interactive, innovative applications for our standard UMAX solution.

The role is based in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem).

As our Technical Expert, you…

• Design, develop and maintain the growth of our product portfolio.
• Be responsible for the quality of a team of engineers, incl code reviews & coaching.
• Develop primarily in X++ for Dynamics365 and low coding power platform apps
• Play a pivotal team role in the scrum team and scrum iterations.
• Work closely together with a product owner as your functional counterpart.
• Participate in different DevOps activities to successfully hand over new software to Operations

What you bring ...

• Minimum 8+ years in product development .NET full stack or equivalent, incl SQL
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in science (applied, economic, scientific,…) or equivalent through experience
• Has excellent oral and written communications skills in English
• Analytical and good communication skills
• Collaboration & teamwork
• Willing to continually learn and be challenged
• Quality driven, result oriented team player

Desired Skills

• 3+ years’ experience with X++ for Dynamics365
• Understanding the Agile Manifesto and working in sprint teams
• Knowledge of application development, preferably with a product-oriented approach vs project one offs.
• UX experience, performance optimization skills
