Role Description:
- Proactively share common objectives of productions availability, including SLO (Service Level Objective), and performance with the developing teams of the tribes within its scope and the APS team of which he/she is a member.
- Control the risks in the production environment and anticipate the impacts on the SLO of the service(s) and other active services related to its scope operations.
- Ensure that the service is rendered to the client as quickly as possible in the event of an incident affecting the functionalities or availability of its scope service.
- Setting up and/or maintaining a monitoring and alerting system for its scope, including scoreboards to measure the health of the service(s).
- Developing a culture of quality, stability and continuous improvements by having an end-to-end view of all the operations affecting its scope: incidents, releases, changes, obsolescence, decommissions, etc.
- Creating a network with other SRE’s, TIM (Tribe Incident Manager), LIM (Local Incident Manager) and participate actively to the SRE Guild.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Reliability Servicing.
Technical Experience
Mandatory
- As SRE you should feel comfortable with the usage of the main IT repository tools (CMDB, Application Referential, ...).
- You should also be familiar with monitoring and alerting tools (Dynatrace, Qrpet, BAM, ...).
- But also with Incident, Problem and Change management tool (Service Now).
- You establish and track key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and data-driven feedback to measure progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic growth and optimization.
- You like dynamic team environments, fostering open communication, active listening, and mutual respect to drive collective success and achieve shared goals.
- With a customer-centric approach, you understand client challenges and their needs, you propose tailored solutions, and provide advices to improve operational quality of their services.
- You bring a creative mindset and analytical thinking to complex challenges, leveraging innovative solutions and outside-the-box ideas to improve quality, stability, and continuity of critical services.
- With a keen eye for detail, you analyze complex information, identify key trends and insights, and develop actionable recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
