Please note that this position is based in Brussels and offered as a permanent contract (CDI). It is not a freelance opportunity. The role requires on-site presence 2 to 3 days per week.

Job Title: International HR Business Partner

Reporting Line: Reports to VP HR EMEA

Job Overview: The International HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with employees and management across various regions. This position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating proactively with the HR department and business management. The International HR Business Partner formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.

Talent Management:

  • Oversee talent acquisition processes to ensure the recruitment of high-caliber candidates.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to retain and develop key employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

Performance Management:

  • Support the implementation of performance management systems.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to managers and employees on performance-related issues.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate HR-related risks.

Change Management:

  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and training to ensure smooth transitions.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR activities and outcomes.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a strategic HR role.
  • Proven experience in international HR management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple regions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
