About the Role

Bechtle, Europe’s largest IT provider, is looking for an enthusiastic junior colleague for an exciting position at the intersection of sales and project management. As a Tender Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting key proposals for major public sector organizations in Belgium. Each tender typically takes around six weeks to complete. You don’t need to have in-depth IT knowledge, but you should feel comfortable in a technical environment and have a strong desire to learn.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate, prepare, and follow up on the full tender process for IT proposals for public institutions.
• Manage individual tenders from preparation to submission, typically over a six-week period.
• Negotiate pricing with IT manufacturers and partners, and take responsibility for calculations.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Belgium, the tender team in Germany, and the Pre-Sales team.
• Ensure that all tenders are submitted accurately and on time.

Who You Are

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or have equivalent professional experience.
• You speak fluent Dutch and have excellent command of English; knowledge of French is an asset.
• You are assertive, a strong negotiator, and attentive to detail.
• You work in a structured manner, can meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
• You have an interest in project administration and process monitoring.
• You strive for quality and consistently meet requirements.
• You are ambitious and results-driven, yet resilient and constructive in the face of challenges.

• Competitive salary and a permanent full-time contract (40 hours per week).
