About The Role

We are seeking a Platform Engineering Intern with a strong interest in the platform engineering area. You will work on challenges that improve development experience, end user experience via improved automation, refactoring, infrastructure migrations, observability.
This is a hands-on role where you will help shape how platform engineering can enable our developers who in turn can develop features that can be trusted and tested to assist healthcare professionals and improve patient care.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Iterate on automation and adoption in these areas: Linux, AWS, Gitlab, Github, Grafana
- Experiment with alternative approaches to pick more optimal solutions that strive towards self-service capabilities for developers in areas touching the whole software development lifecycle: technical design, development, testing, documentation, observability, deployment, alerting
- Develop and automate configuration management in the above areas
- Analyze existing suboptimal setups and propose solutions
- Document and present findings to internal teams
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, design before implementation
- Previous experience as an Intern
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python or Golang or PHP or bash
- Strong communication skills
