About the Opportunity 


As an Algorithm Developer, you will play a key role in refining and optimizing the algorithms that power our breakthrough device. Working at the intersection of data science, physiology, and engineering, you will leverage extensive datasets from clinical investigations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring novel algorithms from concept to product reality. 


Your work will directly influence device performance in real-world conditions, support verification and validation, and contribute to regulatory documentation — ensuring our product is ready for global launch. This is a unique chance to shape a product about to reach the market, while also developing your expertise in a fast-growing, international company. 


Responsibilities 

  • Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms for physiological data 
  • Define and validate metrics to ensure accuracy, robustness, and signal quality 
  • Work with firmware engineers to ensure algorithms are practical for embedded implementation 
  • Work closely with clinicians and data scientists to evaluate algorithms with experimental and clinical data 
  • Contribute to verification, validation, and regulatory documentation for product clearance 

Qualifications 


Essential skills and experience

  • MSc or PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electronics, or a related field with a focus on signal processing and data science for biological applications 
  • Experience in physiological signal analysis and time-series algorithms 
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming 
  • Familiarity with embedded software design and collaboration with firmware engineers 
  • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams 


Bonus 

  • Experience with signal quality and software quality metrics 
  • Knowledge of EU and FDA medical device regulations 
  • Experience in verification & validation of embedded software for medical devices 
  • Exposure to C programming for embedded systems (not required, but useful for collaboration)
