Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance?
Prima could be the place for you.
Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 4 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain.
To help fuel that growth, we need a Product Designer to join our Design System team.
This team is guided by what our customers want. As part of this team, you’ll help us turn user needs into seamless solutions – informed by our design, data and business strategy. From discovery to delivery, you’ll work closely with designers, engineers and analysts to build solutions that are beautiful, functional and measurable.
This team enables consistency, quality, and accessibility across Prima’s products.
As part of this team, you’ll help scale design through a shared system of components, patterns, and guidelines that support designers and engineers in building cohesive and accessible experiences.
Excited to make an impact? Here are the details

- Experience: Mid with 2–3 years of experience in product or system design, preferably contributing to or maintaining a design system.
- Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates deep expertise in UI design foundations, systems thinking, and consistency across complex products.
- Tools: Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Variants, Tokens, Component Libraries). Knowledge of prototyping and handoff best practices.
- Accessibility: Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) and ability to design components and patterns that meet those standards.
- Design Systems Mindset: Experience designing in a scalable way, understanding of modularity, scalability, and design tokens. Experience with documentation tools like Notion, Zeroheight, or Storybook.
