Product Manager – Compliance & ServiceNow - Freelance

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to support the Compliance department of a major bank in Luxembourg.
This role is part of a new governance initiative aiming to onboard various departments into the Enterprise Risk Management module of ServiceNow.
You will act as the main interface between the business (Compliance) and the Product Owner (ServiceNow), ensuring business needs are clearly defined, structured, and effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between the Compliance function and the Product Owner team.
Collect, analyze, and structure business requirements from the Compliance department.
Translate requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications for the Product Owner.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory needs and operational workflows are fully reflected in the tool.
Support The Implementation Of Key Compliance Processes In ServiceNow
Control plans
Recommendations follow-up
Risk assessment & Compliance risk mapping (CSSF framework)
Notifications, validation chains, reporting capabilities, etc.
Participate in workshops, challenge business requirements, and help define priorities.
Ensure the delivered solution matches business expectations and regulatory standards.
Profile & Skills
Solid experience as Product Manager / Business Analyst in a banking or financial services environment.
Strong understanding of Compliance activities: control plans, recommendations, governance, regulatory obligations (e.g., CSSF circulars).
Experience with or exposure to ServiceNow (Enterprise Risk Management module is a plus).
Ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Proactive, autonomous, and able to quickly understand complex regulatory environments.
Languages & Location
French: strong asset
English: mandatory
On-site presence in Luxembourg required.
Mission Details
Start date: ASAP
Contract duration: 6 to 12 months (extendable up to 4 years)
Full-time freelance or external consultant assignment.
Interviews: business (Compliance) + IT (Product Owner).
