Role Overview 


As a full-time remote Interface Designer / Web Developer at COMO, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and optimizing user-centric digital interfaces across COMO’s platforms. You will play a pivotal role in translating design concepts into functional, responsive, and accessible web experiences that embody COMO’s brand identity and meet the highest standards of usability and performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that all digital touchpoints are engaging, reliable, and aligned with the company’s vision. 


Key Responsibilities 


  • Deployment & Implementation: Develop, configure, and maintain website pages on platforms such as WixStudio, Webflow, and MS Azure. Ensure seamless integration of pre-designed screens while optimizing for performance, security, and scalability. Guarantee cross-browser compatibility, consistent branding, and operational excellence across devices. 
  • User Experience Development: Design and refine intuitive user journeys that address client and partner needs. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business and user requirements into impactful digital solutions. 
  • User Interface Engineering: Transform design assets into interactive, user-friendly interfaces. Apply best practices in layout, typography, color, and accessibility to deliver interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional. 
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to test concepts, gather stakeholder feedback, and enhance usability before full-scale implementation. 
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews, testing, and debugging of deployed solutions. Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, technical specifications, and accessibility standards, delivering polished and reliable outcomes. 
  • Design System Integration: Contribute to the development and maintenance of COMO’s design system. Ensure components and patterns are consistently applied to achieve scalability and alignment across digital products. 
  • Responsive & Adaptive Design: Implement designs that adapt fluidly to various devices and screen sizes, ensuring seamless user experiences on desktop, tablet, and mobile. 
  • Accessibility Compliance: Apply WCAG and other accessibility standards to guarantee inclusive digital products. Perform accessibility audits and implement improvements as required. 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work in partnership with designers, marketers, and developers to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality. Communicate technical approaches clearly, aligning design and development decisions with business goals. 
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation: Keep pace with evolving platforms, frameworks, and industry best practices. Experiment with new tools and methods to enhance COMO’s web platforms and bring forward innovative digital experiences. 


Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in web development, ideally within a corporate or B2B environment. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in multiple modern web development platforms (e.g., WixStudio, Webflow, MS Azure) as well as strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks. 
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility. 
  • Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and design-to-code workflows. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices. 
  • Knowledge of financial services or banking industry standards is advantageous. 
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
