Taleo's success depends on the talent of its employees, therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst - Payments SWIFT (MX / MT) :

• Define, draft, and validate detailed business requirements using a structured and proven Business Analysis methodology.
• Collaborate with technical experts to create technical analysis reports based on business needs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and solution scalability.
• Take ownership of financial messaging systems, mastering payment formats in MX (ISO 20022) and maintaining the ability to map them effectively to the older MT formats.
• Ensure compliance with and deep understanding of payment systems and protocols such as EBA, Target2 (T2), and CBPR+.
• Actively investigate and analyze payment messages and transactions to support end-to-end traceability and resolution of issues.
• Dive into technical systems, gaining a functional understanding to identify areas for improvement and to support system evolution and enhancements.
• Contribute to the design and execution of robust testing strategies and plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Lead test execution and validation phases, ensuring completeness and accuracy of outcomes in complex payment flows.
• Coordinate and manage deployment activities, working closely with both business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
• Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption across impacted teams and systems.
• Ensure the production and maintenance of clear, concise documentation and user guides for business and technical stakeholders.

How do we imagine our future Business Analyst - Payments SWIFT (MX / MT)?

• Minimum 6–8 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role in financial services.
• Proven experience as a BA or technical-functional analyst in financial messaging solutions, with strong knowledge of SWIFT MX + MT formats, including ability to map and translate between them.
• Expertise in CBPR+, EBA Clearing, Target2 (T2), and SEPA payment systems and transaction regulations.
• Solid understanding of payment investigations, messaging flows, and transaction life cycles in the ISO 20022 standard.
• Strong grasp of Business Analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on capability to analyze technical systems, understand data flows and architecture, and contribute to system design and enhancements.
• Experience working in Agile environments, with familiarity in iterative delivery, backlog grooming, and user story refinement.
• Knowledge of XML and JSON message structures; ability to analyze message contents.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and structured in problem-solving.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills—able to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent writing and synthesis abilities for clear documentation and reporting.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
