Join Our Trailblazing Team - FPGA Design and Firmware Engineering Opportunity Awaits!

Do you find the idea of contributing to a range of innovative products, including medical devices, advanced radio telescopes, autonomous vehicles, and more, appealing?

If you have a strong interest in developing pioneering solutions and utilizing the latest AMD FPGA technologies, we encourage you to consider joining our team!

Your Role as FPGA Designer / Firmware Engineer

As an integral member of our team, you'll collaborate with a group of experts in Hardware, FPGA, and Embedded Software engineering. Together, we're dedicated to delivering top-tier systems.

Our projects are multifaceted, often involving tasks like image/video processing, the integration of (deep learning) algorithms, multi-threading, microcontroller programming, real-time development, BSP (board support package) development, and proficiency in ROS and wireless communication.

Ready to see the tangible results of your work across a diverse array of groundbreaking projects?

Join us and make your mark on technology's frontier!

What You'll Do

Plan, execute, and validate subsystems, modules, and components.

  • Develop intricate HDL designs, collaborating on large FPGAs like Zynq Ultrascale+ and Virtex Ultrascale+.
  • Determine optimal data and algorithm processing strategies, ensuring seamless FPGA integration.
  • Meet critical timing and resource constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers on pin placement.
  • Craft VHDL and HLS-based modules and subcomponents, conducting thorough simulations for design validation.
  • Act as a collaborative partner for colleagues and stakeholders, both within and outside the team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a BSc. or MSc. degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Masters complex FPGA design and VHDL like a tech guru.
  • You have at least 5+ years of experience in complex FPGA design and VHDL development on Xilinx and/or Altera FPGA.
  • Commands tools like Vivado, HLS, ModelSim or Questa and have solid experience with firmware testing and integration.
  • Excels in firmware testing and integration.
  • Proven expertise C/C++, with Python, Rust, and Matlab as secret weapons.
  • You have an excellent command of English (both oral and written); Dutch preferred.

Note: As you will be working for clients in the domain of defence and security, a Certificate of No Objection issued by AIVD (the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.

This means you will have to undergo a security screening.
