Data Analyst
An opportunity for a mid-senior Data Analysts to strengthen a newly established Data & Insights area within one of the leading organisations in the financial industry. You’ll work on data products that directly support strategic decision-making and drive transparency across a complex, global organization.
Please note the candidate must be located in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, delivering actionable insights for business and technology leaders.
- Transform and model data using SQL and Databricks, preparing it for analytics and visualization.
- Understand end-to-end data flows — from ingestion to presentation — and continuously improve data quality and performance.
- Define and document key metrics and KPIs, ensuring consistency across reports and teams.
- Help advance a self-service BI culture, empowering stakeholders to access and interpret data independently.
- Contribute to the governance, accuracy, and reliability of reporting solutions used at senior leadership and regulatory levels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience developing complex BI reports and data solutions.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Databricks.
- Comfort navigating large-scale IT and data environments, translating business needs into scalable reporting solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Must-have skills:
- Power BI: advanced knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- SQL: solid experience in data extraction, transformation, and optimization.
- Databricks: practical experience with notebooks, pipelines, or data transformations.
- Familiarity or strong interest in Azure data services such as Data Factory or Synapse Analytics.
