This role is available only in Romania, involves an employment contract (CIM), and is fully remote.


Responsabilities:


  • Work in an agile multi-site DevOps team and take ownership for new micro-services; from drafting RFCs over coding to creating tests and ensuring service observability.
  • Design and develop high performance backend services in a cloud-native production environment based on Kubernetes with Kafka and gRPC as backbones.
  • Develop and implement new features and/or improve the capabilities and performance of existing services within company's IoT platform.


Requirments:


  • 3+ years of experience coding in Golang and Java in production environments, with proficiency in Kubernetes, cloud-native services, and protocols like HTTP, REST, gRPC, and OAuth 2.0. Knowledge of Python, protobuf, and IoT/energy systems is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with hyper-scalers (Azure, AWS), Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm, Flux), and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Maven. Proven ability to implement scalable backend services and maintain Grafana’s monitoring stack.
  • Practical experience with technologies such as Kafka, Postgres SQL, NoSQL, Timeseries databases, and Flink. Familiarity with big data platforms and modern API development.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex IT/digital challenges, deliver pragmatic solutions aligned with client goals, and adapt to dynamic environments. Business-level proficiency in English is required.
