About This Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. This role involves developing and supporting software products, services, and modules that integrate databases, business logic, user interfaces, and external systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with international teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for global customers, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
What you will do
- Develop well-structured code in line with company standards
- Document system changes and enhancements
- Coordinate code development and delivery based on defined requirements
- Provide accurate time and effort estimates for new features
- Handle third-level support for developed applications
- Contribute to impact assessments and low-level design documentation
- Participate in multiple projects simultaneously within a distributed team environment
- Support the setup and development of project teams
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development using object-oriented programming
- Advanced knowledge of software lifecycle management and best practices
- Proficient in JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript, SQL and web technologies
- Skilled in relational database design and data normalisation (Data warehouse knowledge is a plus)
- Experienced in PL/SQL query writing
- Familiar with versioning systems such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, SVN
- Good understanding of Linux OS (administration, maintenance, scripting)
- Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies
- Capable of developing software for internet, mobile apps, and communications technology
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to coordinate small software development teams
- Fluent in English (B2 or above); additional languages are an advantage
- University degree preferred
