About the assignment:
emagine is looking for a skilled Mobile Test Engineer to help design and test Financial Services solutions.
You will be part of a collaborative engineering team working on products directly aligned with client’s vision of reaching a billion active users.
Our teams work closely with design, content, and product departments to build, test, and iterate on innovative solutions to customer problems.

Mobile and POS Testing

End: 2025-12-31
Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
About the assignment:
emagine is looking for a skilled Mobile Test Engineer to help design and test Financial Services solutions.
You will be part of a collaborative engineering team working on products directly aligned with client’s vision of reaching a billion active users.
Our teams work closely with design, content, and product departments to build, test, and iterate on innovative solutions to customer problems.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile and POS Testing
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks using XCUI Test, Espresso, and Appium
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
- Perform POS (Point of Sale) functional testing
- Execute payment gateway and card testing procedures
- Develop and execute API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
- Validate payment APIs and backend services
- Implement automation for backend services using Selenium and Java
- Understand and test SOA/Web Services architectures
- Coordinate and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing
- Collaborate with various vertical and cross-functional teams
- Participate in continuous integration and release processes
- Support weekly code deployments with thorough quality assurance
- Strong experience with UI and service automation for web and mobile applications
- Mobile automation expertise (Android/iOS using Espresso/XCUITest/Appium)
- Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman
- Knowledge of source control systems, particularly Git
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven/Ant
- We’re looking for candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Mobile and POS Testing
- Strong automation experience on IOS & Android using XCUI Test, Espresso and Appium
- API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools and understanding of payment APIs and backend service validation
- POS Functional Testing, Payment Gateway & Card Testing
- Must be capable of executing end-to-end testing in coordination with various vertical and cross-functional teams
- Development background
- Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl)
- Understanding of ECI/ECD pipelines
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering
- Understanding of payment systems and financial services
- Working knowledge of In-Store Payments industry (Card, NFC, QR) is an advantage
- Experience with payment gateways and transaction processing
