We are looking for PHP Developer to join Sopra Steria Polska for a client in the aerospace sector.

You will work in a stable, industrial environment within a multinational team (France, Poland, India) supporting a major aeronautical manufacturer.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features on the application coming from business needs.
  • Manage run-mode activities and maintenance of the application.
  • Participate in the app continuous improvement and apply good practices on the code.
  • Prepare demo and adapt to the DevOps pipeline already in place.


Tech Stack on the project:

  • JavaScript
  • PHP
  • Application hosted by OpenShift (ePaaS)


Must have requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of PHP and JavaScript technology.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and IaC (Helm).
  • Professional knowledge of SQL Server and Ext JS.
  • Fluent English B2/C1 .
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice .


Nice to have requirements:

  • Knowledge of Symfony framework.


The recruitment process in our company consist of three stages:

  • a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
  • one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
