We’re looking for an Android Team Lead to join our Saily’s mobile team!
Main Responsibilities
- Team management of Android EngineersContribution in the development effort for Saily for Android devices. This includes interacting with our existing backend REST APIs, providing feedback based on mobile needs, and working with our web, backend, and UX teams to build new features and enhance the quality of existing ones. You will also coordinate with our Product Owners and QA/Support team to ensure our Android app consistently retains a high standard of quality
- Debug and resolve issues reported by users and internal testing teams
- Be a part of a growing development team that consists of engineers with a Kotlin background and QAs
- Identify and plan to reduce technical debt
- App performance - improve testing culture, prioritize security and make sure Saily’s application runs smoothly (app startup, animations etc)
- Stay up to date with cutting-edge tools, approaches, and methodologies to ensure excellent quality of the code. It’s all about that code!
- 5+ years of professional experience in Android + leadership/managerial experience
- Ability to communicate technical complexities to non-tech/other platform people (POs, designer, BE, Web etc)
- Managerial experience: took part in the performance review, ability to provide constructive feedback, actively helping your team to grow
- “To - do attitude”: help to resolve blockers and break down complex tasks, build collaborative relationships across teams and platforms, use failure as a blameless opportunity for a team to learn
