There are over 7000 rare diseases identified, affecting over 300 million patients worldwide

and 1 in 12 patients in Canada. Many of these patients remain undiagnosed and unaware,

and deep analytical tools, Khure allows physicians to quickly understand complex, highrisk

patients and place them on the right care pathways leading to better outcomes for

patients, their families, and the healthcare system.

Khure is looking for a motivated and passionate Machine Learning Engineer. In this role,

you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing various models trained

on deidentified healthcare data. You will work closely with our data science and analytics

teams to ensure data availability and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone

with 5+ years of experience in the field and wants to take their career in machine learning

to the next level. You will have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills while

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the VP Technology, Khure, the successful candidate will:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business

problems

  • Build end-to-end ML pipelines using Databricks and Dagster for data processing,

feature engineering, model training, and deployment

  • Deploy and maintain cloud-based ML models in production, ensuring performance

and scalability

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation for models, processes, and systems
  • Stay current with ML/AI advancements and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of ML engineering experience with production model deployment
  • Deep proficiency in Python
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar ML frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks (MLflow, Spark) and Dagster or similar

orchestration tools

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native ML services
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, vector databases, data lakes, and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in the entire ML lifecycle: feature engineering, model training, CI/CD,

deployment, and monitoring

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, or LlamaIndex
  • Experience with HL7 FHIR-based data modeling
  • ML model monitoring and observability tools
