A strong background in software engineering, AI, big data, and cloud architectures is essential, coupled with the ability to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation and foster a culture of innovation, agility, and security.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CIO will be a critical partner to the CEO and Board of Directors in shaping the company’s digital future, ensuring that technology is a core enabler of competitive advantage, operational excellence, and long-term growth.

  • Oversee the development of API-first, microservices-based architectures that ensure modularity, scalability, and integration flexibility with third-party ecosystems.
  • Build digital platforms that can handle high transaction volumes, multi-market rollouts, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensure UX/UI standards are consistently applied to deliver intuitive, user-friendly applications across customer and employee touchpoints.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and business leaders to translate customer requirements into scalable, technology-driven solutions.

3. AI, Big Data & Advanced Analytics

  • Develop and implement the company’s data and AI strategy, positioning data as a critical enterprise asset.
  • Lead the creation of a centralized big data platform and analytics ecosystem to enable predictive insights, automation, personalization, and real-time decision-making.

  • Partner with external stakeholders (startups, research institutions, industry consortia) to accelerate innovation and adoption of new technologies.
  • Drive a culture of digital-first thinking, ensuring employees embrace technology-enabled change.

6. Leadership, Talent & Culture

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class technology organization spanning software development, data science, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
