The Role

We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our core research and development team in Singapore. You will play a central role in building the next generation of symbolic AI systems—developing and integrating first-principles reasoning, knowledge graphs, and self-supervised symbolic learning. Your work will directly contribute to advancing the frontiers of enterprise AI for high-impact domains such as finance, procurement, scientific discovery, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core modules that enable symbolic reasoning and graph-based inference on structured and semi-structured data.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for graph construction, and reasoning over large-scale knowledge graphs.
• Contribute to internal evaluation frameworks for model training and validation.
• Contribute to the deployment of models on various cloud platforms, and in-house infrastructure.
• Participate in cross-functional research involving symbolic AI, causal inference, and interpretable graph neural networks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, with an interest in symbolic or hybrid (symbolic + neural) AI approaches.
• Experience with graph-based models, graph neural networks (GNNs), or graph analytics frameworks (e.g., Neo4j, NetworkX, PyTorch Geometric, DGL, cuGraph).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with key ML and graph libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Strong background in data structures, logic, or algorithmic reasoning.
• Ability to think abstractly about systems that model relationships, dependencies, and causality.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills, with a deep curiosity for interpretable, self-improving AI systems.
• Must be a Singaporean citizen or permanent resident.

Preferred Experience (Bonus)

• Experience with knowledge graphs or ontological data representation.
• Familiarity with symbolic logic, constraint satisfaction, or causal modeling.
• Exposure to enterprise automation, data pipelines, or simulation systems.
• Background in reinforcement learning, energy-based models, or neurosymbolic AI is a plus.
• Strong mathematical foundation in graph theory, probability, or information theory.
