The Agile Business Analyst will support the business partner, product owner and project management office in ensuring smooth product delivery through thorough documentation, workshop facilitation, reporting, and coordination.
This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, service designer, technical teams, and project management to ensure successful product outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting
- Support Business Partner and Product Owner in documentation; not limiting to, business case, user stories, product backlog, and PRD preparation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, solutions, and test outcomes.
- Support data-driven decision making by developing dashboards and reports.
- Provide regular project progress reporting to PMO.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum team to clarify requirements during sprints.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Service Designer and UX/UI teams for user journey analysis and solution design.
- Support Product Owner with team velocity, burndown charts, and sprint outcomes to identify continuous improvement areas.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and tools (e.g., JIRA, etc).
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to understand business needs and problems.
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications and user stories for the development team.
- Support Product Owner and Service Designer in workshops and meetings.
- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment.
- Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Problem solving skills
- Data analytics Skills
- Good to have Scrum certifications, Tableau and Python coding for data analysis/visualization or GEN AI experience
