Responsibilities

  • You’ll write and maintain scalable, efficient code.
  • You’ll work with teammates and cross functional partners to plan, refine and build features from concept through implementation.
  • You'll spearhead efforts to establish patterns and processes, and lead the team through examples in your own work.
  • You'll develop and enhance new and existing features as well as investigate and resolve defects.
  • You'll remain up-to-date on evolving tools and patterns for managing infrastructure and guiding our implementation of them when necessary.
  • You'll help scope, estimate, and prioritize work.
  • You'll embrace and demonstrate our values: empathy, creativity, and independence.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing systems/software for large businesses using Java/J2EE, Python, or Go
  • Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with databases, cloud, APIs, and other technologies to ensure that the application is scalable, secure, and performant.
  • Experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web applications
  • Possess basic understanding of AI concepts and foundations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with AI experts and integrate AI into existing systems as needed, with guidance
  • Familiarity with data and metrics required for building and evaluating AI models
  • Conversant with AI Native principles and able to apply them to software development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about software and AI based solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advances in AI technology and incorporate them into software development practices.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California: 137,500-186,500

New York, NY: 136,000-184,00

San Diego, CA: 124,500-168,500

Atlanta, GA: 116,500-157,500
