Department Overview
The Business Intelligence team supports members of the Service Department by developing and implementing enhanced analytics and automation into Bloom’s service strategy. This includes tracking fleet performance, working with finance and supply chain forecasting models, developing maintenance plans, and optimizing product performance with industry standard applications and tools. The team is also responsible for databases, reports and visualizations to support Senior-Level reporting requirements.
Position Responsibilities
The full stack developer intern will help design, develop, and maintain web applications, work on both front-end user interfaces and back-end server-side logic, databases, and APIs. Key responsibilities include coding new features, fixing bugs, participating in code reviews, writing technical documentation, and gaining hands-on experience with various development tools, languages (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python), databases, and frameworks (such as React, Node.js).
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently a student earning a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027
- Proficiency in Python/R/Java/Go, with a preference for Python.
- Full stack development experience using frameworks like Angular, React, Node.
- Experience with functional or object-oriented scalable software design and development.
- Experience with algorithm development and implementation, preferably in Python.
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, Cassandra, AWS RDS, Redshift, S3 and REST APIs.
- Experience working with open-source databases and tools.
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.

Salary Statement with pay range
Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.
The pay range for this position $36 - $50 per hour.
Salary Ranges:
$45.75 - $50.00
