Network Engineer

Our client, a Higher Education organization, is looking for a proactive, solutions focused Network Engineer with network design experience. This person would play a key role in multiple upcoming initiatives, including a data center optimization where they're consolidating into a primary NDR site, refresh/replace cisco call manager. and a wireless and cisco meraki implementation. Must currently live in the Greater Austin, Texas area to be considered.

Position Title: Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX; onsite Tuesday-Thursday

Assignment Type: 12 month contract with potential for contract-to-hire

Compensation: $50-$60/hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-5pm CST

Top Requirements:

1) 5+ years experience as Cisco Network Engineer

2) Experience with Aruba access points and switches

3) Experience with Cisco Voice - moving from on prem to Cloud
