Senior .NET Engineer

Forte Group is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer with Delphi expertise who will be responsible for architecting, debugging, and implementing solutions across a critical application suite. This role will be primarily focused on .NET (C#, .NET Core, API/DB integration), while also providing ongoing support and feature enhancements for legacy Delphi applications (Delphi 2007).

On this team, you will be building new features in .NET that empower the business by connecting to key data sources, while also ensuring the stability and performance of existing Delphi-based systems.

Our client provides leading technology and services to the golf industry across the United States and Great Britain including software that manages tee sheets, points of sale, and reservation services, with a focus on providing great experiences for golf players and smooth operations for golf courses.

You will be working as part of a dedicated Agile team with a high level of responsibility for technical decisions and daily collaboration with the client team abroad.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET (C#, .NET Core), with hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• 3+ years of Delphi experience (Delphi 2007 preferred), including Indy 10, DevExpress, Raize, and familiarity with other component sets.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Experience developing and maintaining multi-threaded API/DB applications.
• Understanding of memory management, debugging tools, and performance profiling (both .NET and Delphi).
• Experience with automated code testing (unit testing, automated UI testing).

Nice to have:

• JavaScript framework experience (e.g., React, Angular).
• Automated testing (unit tests, UI testing frameworks).
• Cloud exposure (Azure, AWS).
