What You Will Do
- Play an active part in developing various projects around OpenShift Customer services that allows customers and System Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to manage their OpenShift clusters
- Create and guide new feature development; contribute to projects in Golang
- Be responsible for our product quality, participate in peer code reviews, continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD), respond to security threats
- Coordinate with team leads, architects and other engineers on product design and architecture
- Work with our Red Hat's global customer support team and partner support teams in resolving customer issues
- 3+ years of experience in Golang (preferred) or Python Extensive experience working in a Linux environment
- Proficiency and working experience with container-related tech. nologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.)
- Extensive experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with AWS (preferred) , GCP, or Azure
- Experience with microservices architecture and concepts including APIs, versioning, monitoring, etc.
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
- Familiarity with DevOps or SRE background
- Open-source development experience
- Familiarity with monitoring and dashboarding tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with virtualization and distributed systems
