About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our expanding digital team at Harvey Nash. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative professional passionate about crafting seamless, accessible, and visually compelling user experiences. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design and usability of cloud-based web applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accessibility and user satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging digital solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UI/UX or digital product design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful design solutions. Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe Creative Suite is essential. A deep understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and design systems is required to create inclusive and adaptable user interfaces. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor junior designers. A portfolio showcasing previous work that highlights creativity, usability, and problem-solving skills is highly desirable. Relevant educational qualifications in design, human-computer interaction, or related fields will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for cloud-based web applications, ensuring a focus on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
• Advocate for user needs by conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Front End Developer to translate design concepts into functional prototypes and final products.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organization-wide digital transformation initiatives, aligning design strategies with business goals.
• Mentor and inspire junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the design team.
• Stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the cutting edge of digital design.
