Your Role
Here’s What You Will Be Doing
- Support analysis, design, development, and testing of applications that meet business needs
- Work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to build technical skills and understand business processes
- Contribute to projects that drive positive outcomes for customers and stakeholders
- Gain experience with version control, testing, continuous integration, and other best practices
What You'll Need
- Degree qualification in relevant IT discipline (or near completion)
- Exposure to programming languages such as TypeScript, .NET, Java, or Ruby through university projects, personal work, or internships
- Basic understanding of web frameworks like React with NextJS or Ruby on Rails
- Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including writing simple queries
- Understanding of how modern web applications work, including APIs
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and seek help when needed
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn from others and share knowledge
- Commitment to delivering a positive experience for internal or external customers
- Preferred: Experience developing Cloud-native apps in AWS or Azure
- Preferred: Experience building containerised applications with Docker
- Preferred: Experience with automated testing and mocking frameworks
- Preferred: Exposure to Scrum or other Agile development methodology
