You’ll be the technical bridge between clients, internal teams, and delivery managers, taking business requirements and turning them into end-to-end solutions that actually work in the real world.
- Melbourne ($180k+ Super, 3 days in office (Flexible)
- Citizens Only (You will have the opportunity to get a security clearance!)

What you’ll actually be doing:
- Lead architecture and design for on-prem & cloud solutions, with a focus on scalability, security, and integration
- Act as the client-facing technical expert (translate their business needs into actionable designs)
- Mentor and guide development teams on best practice and architectural principles (dotted line reports)
- Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate emerging technologies and advise on adoption
- Create clear, usable technical documentation, diagrams, and decision logs
What you need to bring to the table:
- ~10+ years in software or IT architecture, Solutions architecture (telecoms, defence, or SaaS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Linux / Red Hat, networking, virtualization, and high-availability systems
- Deep understanding of system security and encryption
- Strong written and verbal communication (comfortable speaking with stakeholders at all levels)
- Australian citizenship (eligible for security clearance)
Team & Environment:
- Smallish but highly skilled delivery team
- Client-facing components: you’ll manage expectations, scope, and deliverables
- Flexible but Melbourne-based: ~3 days in the office to collaborate and stay connected
