Role Overview
We are seeking a Tableau Data Analyst with advanced data modeling and visualization expertise to join our analytics and reporting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structuring datasets, creating insightful dashboards, and maintaining accurate, scalable reporting systems to support business and financial operations.
The professional must have a strong command of Tableau and Excel, experience with data modeling, and familiarity with financial analysis. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
Fully remote opportunity in Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to monitor financial and operational performance.
- Structure and organize datasets for efficient visualization and data analysis.
- Build and optimize complex Excel models and formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, PMT, IRR, NPV).
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to identify key metrics and automate reporting processes.
- Translate business requirements into clear, data-driven insights and visual narratives.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and data requests from leadership.
- (Nice to have) Integrate Tableau with Power BI or other BI tools for cross-platform reporting
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, preferably in financial services.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel (formulas, modeling, data management).
- Advanced Tableau skills, including calculated fields, parameters, actions, and complex visualizations.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts such as ROI, IRR, and NPV.
- Strong experience in data structuring, cleansing, and transformation.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python for data manipulation (preferred).
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Availability to work aligned with the Eastern Time Zone
