Your Responsibilities At Waterdrop®

• You manage the roll-out, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks across our international organization.
• You act as the first line of defense against technical issues—resolving them quickly to minimize downtime and support team productivity.
• You oversee network infrastructure including access points, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure high availability and security.
• You implement and monitor security measures such as encryption, access controls, and regular vulnerability assessments. Respond promptly to security incidents and mitigate potential risks.
• You ensure that IT operations align with GDPR, NIS2, and other relevant standards in close collaboration with our DPO and compliance teams.
• You coordinate the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle tracking of all IT hardware and software. Maintain an accurate inventory to support upgrades and replacements.
• You work hand-in-hand with our CTO to align IT systems with the strategic needs of the business.
• You conduct regular audits across our EU and US locations to ensure systems are compliant, up-to-date, and aligned with waterdrop® standards.
• You manage core business applications including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, and more—ensuring seamless user experience across platforms.
• You drive forward information security initiatives across the company, embedding best practices and fostering a security-first culture.
  
  

Your Strengths And Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or degree from a HTL with focus on IT.
• You gained 5 years of experience in managing IT for organizations of minimum 200 employees.
• You have experience in managing and administering standard productivity software (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, etc.).
• You have experience in managing hardware (RMM for both Windows & Mac, MDM, etc.).
• You have experience in networking and firewall config.
• You have experience in driving and implementing InfoSec initiatives.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 45,000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
