About the job

Join our team as a application engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in helping customers succeed with our cutting-edge products. In this position, you'll debug customer issues, create reference designs and evaluation modules, and develop technical documentation, including user guides and application notes. You'll also provide expert support through forums and email, assist with design-in activities, and contribute to datasheet reviews to ensure the robustness of the product. We're looking for candidates with a degree in electrical engineering, experience in schematic and layout design (Altium preferred), and a strong understanding of power and analog circuits. Proficiency with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and soldering tools, is essential, while experience with C/C++ and LabVIEW is a plus. Key responsibilities

  • Debug customer-related issues by recreating problems on evaluation or customer boards, and provide solutions to their technical challenges.
  • Create reference designs, evaluation modules (EKs), and demonstration systems to showcase product capabilities and solve customer problems.
  • Write user guides, application notes, design notes, and white papers to explain product use cases and help customers succeed.
  • Answer technical questions via forums and email, and assist with design-in activities for both released and new products.
  • Participate in datasheet reviews and provide application-level feedback on new silicon to ensure product robustness and feasibility considering external components and PCB design.



Qualification and skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with schematic and layout design using tools like Altium is important for reviewing and creating designs.
  • A strong understanding of power and analog circuits (DCDC converters, op-amps, and data converters) is necessary
  • Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and soldering is essential for testing and debugging.
  • Experience working with embedded systems, C/C++, and LabVIEW is a plus
