Communications Project Manager

We are looking for a Communications Project Manager to our gaming client. Before you apply, please understand that you need to have experience working with Internal Communication and Copywriting. This will be crucial for the role.

Start: January

Length: 10 months (coverage for team member on leave)

Location: Stockholm on-site 2-3 days per week (remote not possible)

About The Role

The Chief of Staff team are looking for someone to drive and project manage internal communications initiatives that help and enable the rest of the studio. The focus for the Chief of Staff team is to drive strategic planning, global communications, and operational excellence to maximize the impact of the Head of Studio and Leadership team to ensure the success of all the teams at the studio. You will be involved in a variety of projects and initiatives within Internal Communications, from setting up and facilitating meetings and collaborating with the studio and teams for implementation.

Shared Team Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Strategist in setting a global and local communications strategy to drive implementation
  • Identify needs and outcomes for internal communications initiatives based on strategy, and create briefs and proposals in support of these, for stakeholder review and approval
  • Track project and workstream status and communicate updates to the Chief of Staff team, stakeholders and Stockholm studio
  • Identify opportunities and challenges for reaching operational excellence within internal communications for the Stockholm studio
  • Participate in the Global communications v-team on global and local comms and co-ordination of global projects and initiatives
  • Support the Chief of Staff with planning and facilitating team and studio events, such as all hands meetings, team retrospectives, team offsites
  • As needed, support in project management of other initiatives within Chief of Staff team

Requirements:

  • Strategic project management of digital projects and initiatives, with experience of: implementation of strategy, requirements gathering, managing timelines and communication, casting project teams, working with stakeholders, assessing project rollout and training needs, project documentation, collaboration across different teams
  • Worked in a Digital Operations or Production role
  • Pragmatic context specific problem solving
  • Experience of facilitating workshops and meetings, using digital conference tools
  • Excellent collaborator, stakeholder manager and communicator
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Experience using project management tools
  • Experience using MS applications is a plus
  • Experience working in a global company on internal communications or related initiatives
