Senior Frontend Developer

We're looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join a dynamic and innovation-driven technology team. You'll help design, build, and enhance high-quality, secure, and scalable digital experiences that make a real impact on customers.



About the Role

You'll play a key role in developing new features, improving performance, and resolving issues for a large-scale, customer-facing website. Working in an Agile/DevOps environment, you'll collaborate closely with developers, cloud engineers, and integration specialists to deliver modern, user-focused web solutions using the latest technologies and best practices.



Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain frontend applications using Nuxt3, Vue.js 3, and TypeScript

  • Ensure high performance, SEO, and accessibility standards

  • Collaborate on architectural and technical decisions related to frontend development

  • Integrate with APIs, headless CMS platforms, and cloud services

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and code review processes

  • Work cross-functionally to deliver seamless, secure, and engaging user experiences



Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in frontend development

  • Strong proficiency in Nuxt3, Vue.js 3, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Solid understanding of SSR, SSG, BFF, and caching concepts

  • Experience with Git, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)

  • Availability for 32-40 hours per week (hybrid: ~60% onsite)



Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure App Services and Azure Front Door

  • Familiarity with headless CMSs (e.g., Contentful)

  • Working knowledge of React

  • Early exposure to Nuxt4
