As an iOS Developer, you will work on the OMRON Connect apps, building seamless, reliable experiences that millions of users trust worldwide. Your role

In our team of bright developers, you will take ownership of the full app lifecycle. From designing and implementing new features to improving existing ones. Beyond coding, you will contribute to architectural decisions, help evolve our modular codebase, and ensure our apps remain reliable and future-proof. In our holacracy-driven culture, you are encouraged to take initiative, experiment with new technologies, and actively shape how we deliver innovative digital health solutions.

Here are just a few of the things you'll be responsible for, amongst others.

  • Develop and optimize mobile applications in Swift, ensuring high performance and user experience.
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of mobile applications and technical solutions.
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts during early project stages.
  • Create intuitive, device-specific user interfaces and experiences.
  • Work on features and services that communicate with BLE devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide implementation guidance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, e.g. SwiftUI and Kotlin Multiplatform.

We’re looking for smart, self-starting and technically skilled people who thrive in a collaborative environment. If you enjoy sharing ideas, solving challenges as a team and prefer building together over working as a lone wolf, you’ll feel right at home with us. What we’d like you to bring along:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an iOS or Mobile developer
  • A bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Experience writing Unit and/or UI test for mobile apps
  • Knowledge about and understanding of Object-Oriented software design, including various patterns like MVVM
  • Demonstrated experience with Web services, Cloud and API technologies
  • Expertise in app memory management, multithreading, networking and debugging & optimalization skillls
  • Familiarity with an Agile working environment
  • English is our primary language, so you're fluent in that language.
