We are looking for an experienced (6-10 years) and motivated security consultant with a strong technical background in offensive and/or defensive security to join our team of cybersecurity specialists.
Some of the example projects include:
- Oversight and execution of various cybersecurity engagements including penetration tests (web, infrastructure, applications), technical security assessments, phishing simulations and red/purple teaming;
- Perform manual and automated security testing to identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications;
- Performing cloud security infrastructure reviews;
- Advising on all other aspects of cybersecurity, technical and non-technical;
- Security improvements projects for capabilities such as:
- Vulnerability management;
- Security monitoring (SIEM);
- System hardening.
You will be working within ambitious, skilled and knowledgeable teams, at and with clients, on a day-to-day basis. You’ll be improving, educating and helping our clients that are facing security challenges for which they require a structured, one-off, assessment or improvement effort. You’ll work on projects that can take anywhere from multiple days to multiple months, and for a variety of clients and industries. The role is challenging and requires flexibility and agility to adapt to each unique engagement that you’ll encounter.

Your Profile:
- Master’s degree within Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM profile)
- Professional accreditations such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP or similar are a pre
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, such as:
(Technical) security consulting services;
Ethical hacking/pentesting/phishing exercises, etc.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, methodologies, and tools
- Experience with managing multiple clients and/or projects simultaneously
- Enthusiastic about mentoring and guiding junior members of the security team
- Experienced in working in a project setting with defined scope, deliverables, time and budgets
- Experience with Cyber Security frameworks such as OWASP, MITRE, NIST, ISF, CIS Controls, ISO, PCI-DSS
- Experience with fact- and evidence-based reporting
- Experience with writing of proposals, business development and interested in further developing;
- Risk, compliance and IT audit experience are a plus;
- Fluent in English and Dutch
