Responsibilities:

• Play an active role in the development team to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend solutions
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality and performance
• Excel in improving monitoring processes using tools like New Relic.
• Take an active role in enhancing software standards across the team.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Write clean and well-documented code following the industry best practices and coding standards with support of experienced teammates

Skills and Knowledge:

• 7+ years experience delivering production code for backend services.
• Experience with Golang
• Experience with HTTP/REST and web technologies like gRPC, Protobufs
• Excellent knowledge of one of the databases such as PostgreSQL, Mongo, MYSQL
• Knowledge of data-driven architecture and systems design
• Knowledge of the philosophy of cloud and an experience maintaining cloud native services (AWS)
• Experience of designing, building, scaling and maintaining production services, and knowledge about how to compose a service oriented architecture.
• Experience creating, managing and maintaining Micro Services.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, Prometheus, Kibana, etc.
