Your Impact

You will be joining our proactive and collaborative team as a Human Resources Generalist in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will independently manage human resources activities across the employee lifecycle while serving as a trusted resource for colleagues and business partners in the geography. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional support, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements, and contributing to the achievement of our strategic goals.

As a vital member of the human resources team, you will work closely with colleagues across geographies and collaborate with counterparts in other functions, such as Legal, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Professional Development, and other HR Operations teams. Your efforts will help maintain alignment with policies and processes while supporting colleagues to perform at their best.

Your responsibilities will include providing hands-on HR support to stakeholders and colleagues, managing the on- and off-boarding processes for new hires, transfers and role changes (including orientation execution), and supporting role changes, rotations, and flexible work programs. You will ensure accurate HR data and document management with a focus on data integrity, assist managers with evaluation and performance management processes, and communicate and interpret policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency. Additionally, you will lead and support colleague care programs and employee relations initiatives, acting as a trusted source of information and guidance for colleagues while escalating issues as needed.

You will be part of our Human Resources team, which is a key component of the wider People team, and your contributions will help foster a supportive and compliant work environment.

This is a hybrid role, and you will be expected to work from the office a few days a week.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree required
  • Proven experience in human resources or other related fields, with a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and compliance requirements
  • Full time availability
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in human resources information systems, HRIS / AFAS, and case management tools or the willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering an equitable and efficient human resources experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and care for colleagues’ well-being
  • Fluency in Dutch is preferred but not required
