About the job

As BDPO Manager, you will lead and develop the BDPO function, ensuring we remain a high-performing, forward-thinking team. In this assignment you will.

  • Inspire and empower a diverse team of project professionals to deliver excellence and grow in their roles
  • Manage a strategic project portfolio, ensuring full delivery—on time or faster—with strong value realization
  • Build and nurture stakeholder relationships, advising senior leaders and management teams across IKEA Core Business Supply
  • Champion talent development, recruitment, and succession planning—ensuring BDPO remains a hub for top-tier project management talent
  • Strengthen BDPO’s role as a competence centre, continuously evolving our methods and capabilities
  • Represent Core Business Supply in the global Project Management capability network, shaping the future of strategic project delivery across Inter IKEA

You will report to Strategic Planning Manager, Elin Niklasson, and be based in Älmhult, Sweden.

Experience in management consulting or fields such as business transformation, innovation deployment, organizational development, or process design is highly beneficial.
